I wonder if the Wolf knew.
I can't imagine that he did.
If he had known he wouldn't have gone after her,
the girl in the bright red riding hood.

Couldn't he smell it?
Wouldn't he notice the lack of noise in her chest.
The absence of Buh-bump, Buh-bump,
that all humans have to keep them alive?

When he jumped her in the woods,
that little girl of skin and bone,
did he know that she would be that strong?
Did he know she would be that fast?

If he had seen her fangs before he pounced,
would he have still done it?
He must not have known that wolves,
should never mess with vampires.
